MEMBERS
The members of the Association actively support its actions and contribute materially and morally to its efforts to promote choral music creation in Greece and abroad through the "Yannis Mantakas" Choir.
REGISTRATION PROCESS
The procedure you must follow to register as a Member of the Friends of the Choir is as follows:
- Fill in all the fields on the form at the bottom of the page. All fields are required. Pay attention to the e-mail address you fill in, as this is the main way the Association will contact you.
- Click on the "Submit" button. You will receive a confirmation e-mail, along with a copy of the information you provided.
- At the next meeting of the Board, all registration applications will be reviewed and a decision will be made as to which ones are approved.
- If your application is approved, you will receive an e-mail with all the information necessary to pay your annual subscription (€20.00). Upon confirmation of the deposit, your subscription will be activated.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Those who accept the Association's aims and are willing to be active in order to achieve them, can join the Association as members.
Membership of the Association is decided by the Board, which examines all applications for membership.
The applicant must be over 18 years of age and must have an e-mail address which he/she/they uses regularly.
Members have the right to withdraw from the Association at any time. Withdrawal must be submitted in writing to the Board at least three months before the end of the accounting year and shall be effective for the end of the accounting year.
A member may be expelled from the Association, if there is good cause and the General Assembly so decides by a majority of three quarters of the members present.
- Members are obliged to attend the General Assemblies of the Association.
- Members, with the exception of honorary members, shall have the right to vote and to be elected to the organs of the Association, subject to any restrictions contained in other articles of the statute.
- Members shall be required to pay the annual membership fee in due time, by the end of the first month of the current year. Failure to pay two (2) consecutive annual dues shall be grounds for the removal of the member from the Association.
- Members receive e-mail invitations for the general meetings of the Association.
- Members receive via e-mail and at regular intervals an informative newsletter about the activities of the Association and the events of the Choir "Yannis Mantakas".
- The members take part in the annual Vasilopita event of the Association and the Choir.
- Upon timely payment of their membership fee, members receive as a gift the annual calendar of the choir.
- Members shall receive e-mail invitations to the free events of the Association and the Choir.
- Members participate in raffles conducted by the Association for concerts and other events that do not have free admission.
- Members and their first-degree relatives have a 10% discount on the tuition fees of all sections of the New Conservatory of Thessaloniki.
PAYMENT OF SUBSCRIPTION
Η συνδρομή στους Φίλους έχει ετήσια διάρκεια και ανέρχεται στο ποσό των 20,00€ (10,00€ για τους φοιτητές). Η πληρωμή της συνδρομής για το τρέχον έτος γίνεται μέχρι την τελευταία ημέρα του πρώτου μήνα του, ως εξής:

Upon settlement of your annual subscription rate, you will receive the receipt for the payment on the e-mail account you have provided.
As a reminder, non-payment of two (2) consecutive annual dues is grounds for deletion of the member from the Association.
